Samhain Ceremony

At Samhain, the veil between the worlds is at its thinnest.

It is a time of honoring those who have come before us.

We will perform a simple prayer, a simple ceremony

and drum or rattle to express our gratitude.

Join me this Friday evening,

Oct.30 at 6-7PM/MDT

On Zoom. Free.

Ahead of time:

Create an Ancestor altar. Place pictures of your departed family members there.

Place some sacred objects around their pictures: bells, shells, rocks, gem stones, flowers, candles.

Have a small bowl of water there too.

A smudge stick or other herbs to burn.

Maybe some tobacco or flower petals as an offering.

Maybe a traditional food dish from your family line, or a piece of chocolate. The spirits love chocolate.

Have a drum or rattle or your voice and clapping hands to celebrate with.
