Astro Update 5 11 21 The Next Mercury’s Cycle

So we enter the Shadow of the next Mercury Cycle on May 15th. It’s a slowing down, a time of beginning to look at what’s in front of us instead of projecting out into the future. Mercury will be in Gemini all during this next Retrograde (Rx) cycle, having us looking at our thinking, our language and how we express ourselves.

Mercury Rx takes us inside to rethink, review, re-look at where we are. It occurs for 3 weeks, 3 times a year. Yes, checks get lost in the mail, you think you’re meeting at one restaurant and the other person shows up at another, looking for you…etc. Because it’s a time of self-reflection not necessarily a lot of outward movement. Yet, it’s always good to have a project to work on during that Rx time frame.

So the events between when Mercury enters its shadow (May 15) to when it turns Rx, (May 29) suggests that we will come back to these situations and re-think them during the Rx time. We spend 3 weeks in that Rx mode, and then on June 22nd,

Mercury turns Direct and we have opportunities to re-do, re-structure our lives.

Mercury will catch up and move into new territory on July 7th, and this cycle of Mercury comes to an end.
